Terms of Service
Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of tacticalphysio.com and your registration for and participation in Tactical Physiotherapy PLLC ("Tactical Physio") courses, including live courses and online course content. By using the site or registering for a course, you agree to these Terms.
Course Eligibility
Our courses are designed for licensed healthcare clinicians and students in qualifying programs. It is your responsibility to confirm that dry needling is within your scope of practice under the laws and regulations of the state or jurisdiction where you practice. Registration does not itself authorize you to perform dry needling.
Registration, Payment, and Fees
Course tuition is due at registration. Payments made by credit card include a 3.5% card processing fee, which is non-refundable. Online course content becomes available upon registration.
Cancellation, Refund, and Transfer Policy
- More than 30 days before the course: you may request a full refund (less the card processing fee) or a free transfer to another course date, provided you have completed less than 10% of the online course content. If you have completed 10% or more of the online content, a transfer is available but a refund is not.
- 30 days or less before the course: registrations are transferable to another course date but not refundable.
- Less than 14 days before the course: transfers are subject to a $100 transfer fee.
- One transfer is permitted per registration.
If Tactical Physio cancels a course, registered participants will receive the choice of a full refund or a free transfer, regardless of online content progress.
Online Course Content and Access
Access to online course content is provided for individual use and remains available for 6 months following the associated live course date, unless otherwise stated for a specific offering.
Intellectual Property
All course materials, manuals, videos, frameworks, and content, including the Radiculopathic Model of Orthopedics course materials and the S.A.F.E. and Triple R frameworks as presented in our education, are the property of Tactical Physio or its licensors. Materials are provided for your individual professional education and may not be reproduced, distributed, recorded, or used to create derivative courses or products without written permission.
Live Course Participation and Assumption of Risk
Live courses include hands-on laboratory instruction in which participants may practice examination and dry needling techniques on other participants and have techniques practiced on them. Participation in lab activities is voluntary. You are responsible for disclosing any condition that would make participation unsafe for you. Participants will be asked to sign a separate informed consent and liability waiver at the course, and completion of that document is a condition of lab participation.
Professional Responsibility; No Medical Advice
Course content is provided for professional education. It is not medical advice for any specific patient and does not establish a provider-patient relationship. Clinical decisions remain the responsibility of the treating clinician, applying their own judgment, training, and applicable regulations.
Continuing Education Credit
Where continuing education credit is offered, credit hours and approvals are described on the specific course or event page. Approval requirements vary by state and profession, and it is your responsibility to confirm that a course meets your licensure requirements.
Giveaways and Promotions
From time to time we run giveaways, such as at professional conferences. No purchase is necessary to enter or win. Winners are selected from eligible entries and notified using the contact information provided. Prizes are non-transferable and have no cash value unless stated otherwise.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tactical Physio's total liability arising out of or related to a course or the website is limited to the amount you paid for the applicable course. Tactical Physio is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date above reflects the latest revision, and continued use of the site or registration after changes constitutes acceptance.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict of law principles.
